Videotastics, Crazy Nafe made sure his graphics were seen on screen at the Globe Theatre in Brisbane with the electro rock band, Beatronica. Vocalist Mars Girl was in full psychedelic photo image she struts you though a few of the highights on the night. The band are poised in recording mode as a new single “You and Me ” nears completion.. Beats, afro and otherwise will be afoot at Ric’s Bar on the 10th November when BEATRONICA ‘Soulsters’ do their only Spring show along with afro beat rocksters the BLACK AS BLUE crew.. Mars Girl will be there takin you higher, she’s the new town crier, Crazy Nafe will be on the video, doin that to your eye baller. Check the HD the Columbian mystery on the guitar he’s come here from afar. Catch GM Dood too bringin you da bass food and de Beat will move and mC layin on the heat. Beatronica will be gigging late Spring, what timing, now then you can get a bit of de Beats rhyming. Shows are starting to lock in, like Ric’s Bar early November and Globe Theatre around then too.. There’s a new single and video clip in the mix at present a follow up to their Nashville mix of “Train” but “Breathe”is set to be a bit more home grown. Other news is the band have a featured track on an enviro dvd due out in September, a collaboration with community groups and develvopers called Allocasuarina emuina Recovery. Fresh back from gigs in Sydney, Beatronica now implanted in the mix as their new single for Breathe takes shape. What’s new is a video clip in final production and some club mixes of the track.. The ever sensual vocals on this track really highlight the Mars Girl and the bands sound. its been a favorite of the band live, should be out in a few weeks.. some more of the groups sound r&b pop. Beatronica groovers are heading to Sydney to perform this weekend and the band singer Mars Girl will be takin you higher in St mary’s RSL this friday 5th August.. Sydneys outer west will be rockin about 10 pm.. with 3 bands on the bill should kik off about 8.. Beatronica just played Brisbane to a joyous crowd and the beats were rockin the girl was a popin.. 4 bands 10 bucks, 4 girls on pop tunes for the west end and valley masses.. Beatronica groovers play their set about 10 pm on the 22nd July at the Globe in the valley.. Sydney sent us The Unravelling to headline the show, they are pouting a new cd full of wonderful pop new wave goodies. Alphabeticus will be strutting their UK vibe too.. on about 9 pm.. After smashing it at Rics Bar in the Valley town last Friday, Beatronica are back to the Valley at Jugglers on the 21st June, for the Fete de la Musique… The bands current single Train is out on Itunes>>> Wicked beats and soulful vocals are guaranteed. The groups been doing a bit of recording of late polishing up the takes on the next single Breathe. The video for Breathe is being produced by Special K.. The mans a Russian legend in the arts there having worked with Russian Ballet.. oooh errrr….
